Description

Located on one of Birmingham’s landmark canals, the Mailbox was originally the Royal Mail’s sorting office, it later became known as a destination for boutique, high-end shopping, an array of bars and restaurants and up until recently, the home of BBC Birmingham.

In late 2020 it was first announced that the Ground Floor space would no longer house retailers of designer furniture and homeware. But was to be taken over by Spaces, a flexible and co-working office provider, creating 50,000 sq ft of workspace.

With an increasing amount of shopping moving online, the demand for retail space has shifted. Come and join us on our BCO Bitesize tour and hear how 50,000 sq ft of former retail space has been transformed to Grade A office space. The building now merges together high quality office space and a superb range of retail, food and beverage amenity. Hear about the opportunities and constraints the build presented, by Principal Director Stuart Curran from Weedon Architects and Senior Projects Director, Grant Clarke from Rhino Interiors Group.

The hour long tour is designated to fit within your lunch break, providing an opportunity to view a great work space whilst networking with fellow attendees.
