Description

Constructing Science provides a common language and clear trajectory of travel for the design of Life Science spaces; ranging from private sector, higher education, research parks, pharmaceutical labs, manufacturing facilities and of course, the glue that brings it all together: workplaces. The issue of a common language has been solved through the introduction of the Constructing Science dynamic model: a first-of-its-kind and free to use tool which comprises technical design and performance criteria with regulatory requirements and specification recommendations. With the Life Sciences sector boosting the UK economy by £94 billion each year and an ever-increasing demand and competition for lab space, the Constructing Science publication and dynamic model could not have come at a more opportune and essential time for the sector. Join the BCO and Constructing Science seminar for this latest discussion on how the shared vision of these two bodies seeks to develop cohesion, collaboration and responsibility to deliver the best design practices for Life Science Laboratory space.
