The BCO are excited to offer our members the chance to see the Soho Estates Headquarters, shortlisted for the BCO 2023 London Awards in the ‘projects up to 1,500m2’ category.
Description
The project is situated in Ilona Rose House, the largest new mixed-use commercial building in Soho, which Soho Estates are also opening up for the tour. Built on an acre site across 13 floors, four of which are below ground level, the development is also home to Warner Bros’ new European Postproduction Headquarters, accommodating the biggest ‘final edit’ theatre outside California. Over a sixth of the site is open space providing al-fresco dining for more than 250 people across four new bars and restaurants either side of James Court.
Designed for long term adaptability, column free office floors are easily subdivisible, inter-linkable and enjoy over 13,000 sq. ft. of private external terraces with spectacular views across the West End. The project also includes eight new social rented apartments, along with the regeneration of a 17th Century Listed Building as a new Art Gallery and Art Studio, conceived, owned and curated by women, housing art by women and other under-represented groups.
