BCO are delighted to announce the first of their ‘London Awards Tours’ of 2024 with a tour of the Alpha Group, shortlisted for ‘Fit Out of Workplace’.
Description
After creating ‘the best office in Bristol’ for Alpha, the international financial services group asked Ikon to rise to similar heights for it’s latest fit-out project in Paddington, West London. Their workplace needed to combine design continuity from their existing offices, with its own originality and authenticity. It was crucial to develop a space that promoted collaboration and socialising whilst supporting the fast-paced, high performing culture that is engrained in Alpha’s ethos.
Key to the vision and character of the project were areas such as the boardroom and reception, an auditorium, a 20m-long bar and a golf simulator room. Drawing on materials from the industrial landscape of the local area, the space is softened by swathes of high-quality joinery, while feature lighting adds drama and depth to the background.
