Description

After the success of the London event and the interest in the rest of the UK we will be running two separate UK events with the first on 25th February at 17:00.

ReTour III is taking the form of several “stages”, studying best practice in office design and active travel facility management in London, the UK and internationally. The virtual format provides attendees with a global perspective; exploring cutting edge cycling facilities in office buildings around the world.

Each online event lasts around one hour, featuring video tours of cycling amenities within new and existing properties, talks, presentations and panel discussions; all aimed at allowing participants to gain insight and understanding into how active travel facilities can be incorporated into the office and workplace of the future, benefiting occupiers, the environment and improving asset values.

Chaired by Neil Webster of Remit Consulting, the panellists and their topics are:

• Scott Dougal (British Cycling) – Work of their Bike Nation project with HSBC and their aspirations across the UK to include workplace cycling.
• Lydia Ellis & George Jennings (Avison Young) – How Brindleyplace has put wellbeing and work-life balance at the centre of its marketing both pre- and post-pandemic, with active travel having a key role to play.
• Rachel Scott (TfGM) & Lee Howarth (Media City) – Manchester’s Cycle Hubs with a focus on Media City
• Laura Kerry (Quoram Park) – Quoram Park’s history of active travel and the new measures and incentives they have introduced during the pandemic.
• Julian Scriven (Brompton) – Brompton Cycle Hire focusing on their Wheels for Heroes campaign across the UK.
