The primary role of the Committee is to promote the BCO in Scotland and we do so by organising a variety of events for our members.

Here are some examples:-

  • The launch of the 2005 Specification in Waverley Gate, Edinburgh;
  • A tour of the Scottish Parliament;
  • A two day tour of new offices in London;
  • A presentation from BBC Scotland and a tour of their new facility which is at present under construction at Pacific Quay in Glasgow;
  • Property Week Debate at Edinburgh Quay;
  • A tour of the new Royal Bank Headquarters building at Gogarburn, Edinburgh;
  • A seminar led by Fosters on master planning issues at the site of the Quartermile Development in Edinburgh;
  • A tour of the new Aurora Building in Glasgow;

The secondary aim of the Committee is the growth of the Scottish Chapter by encouraging new members to join the organisation. We now have 108 members in Scotland.
