Scotland
There are eleven members on the Committee of the Scottish Chapter comprising agents, developers, architects, occupiers and one lawyer.
The primary role of the Committee is to promote the BCO in Scotland and we do so by organising a variety of events for our members.
Here are some examples:-
- The launch of the 2005 Specification in Waverley Gate, Edinburgh;
- A tour of the Scottish Parliament;
- A two day tour of new offices in London;
- A presentation from BBC Scotland and a tour of their new facility which is at present under construction at Pacific Quay in Glasgow;
- Property Week Debate at Edinburgh Quay;
- A tour of the new Royal Bank Headquarters building at Gogarburn, Edinburgh;
- A seminar led by Fosters on master planning issues at the site of the Quartermile Development in Edinburgh;
- A tour of the new Aurora Building in Glasgow;
The secondary aim of the Committee is the growth of the Scottish Chapter by encouraging new members to join the organisation. We now have 108 members in Scotland. For further details please contact the Chairman of the Committee, Bill Ferrie of Tods Murray, Glasgow, 0141 243 4554, bill.ferrie@todsmurray.com or any other committee member.
