Getting Involved
There are a number of ways in which you can get involved with BCO events:
Partnering events
We do occasional partner events with other orgainsations. Should your company be planning an event that may be of interest to BCO members, do get in touch to discuss partnership opportunities
Technical Tours
Members are invited to suggest buildings for technical visits by the BCO, one of the most popular benefits of membership is the opportunity to visit exciting projects across the UK.
We hope that the event would enable our members to gain an insight into how the project was conceived and developed and what its impacts are on the area from an economical and regeneration point of view.
Technical visits generally begin late afternoon ie 5:30-6:00pm and the usual format would run as follows;
5.15pm
5.45pm
6.15pm
6.45pm
Registration (tea/coffee)
Introduction and Presentations
Tour of the building (including Q&A)
Networking /drinks
The time-table is flexible and we would be happy to arrange visits at other times in the day
The co-ordination of the event itself is at the client's own discretion. If you are able to provide refreshments this would be much appreciated.
Once the technical visit has been approved by the BCO and we have agreed a date for the visit, the BCO would issue application forms to the membership. We would ask the client to put a few words together to include on the application and to provide a couple of images (as jpeg/gif files) to help in marketing the event.
The client may suggest a maximum amount of delegates they wish to attend the visit.
Sponsorship
There are opportunities to sponsor various events in the calendar. The largest events: the Awards Dinner and Annual Conference send out prospectuses to the membership, although smaller events may provide branding opportunities as well. Please get in touch to discuss further.
To discuss any of the above, please contact the BCO on 020 7283 0125 or email mail@bco.org.uk
