Working in Partnership
In taking forward the BCO's research programme, research partnerships have become an invaluable means of furthering the research fund and involvement of members in our research activities.
In recent years members contributions both in-kind and in-cash have significantly increased our research spend and enabled the production of an array of different reports covering many different aspects of the office development, design and occupation.
The BCO Specification and the BCO Office Fit Out Guide have both benefited from a large in-kind contribution from companies including Arup, Land Securities, Pringle Brandon, BRE Environment, Bovis Lend Lease, Interior, Reid Architecture, Davis Langdon, Stanhope, Bennet Associates, and Sheppard Robson.
Among our major partners in relation to the other research that we have produced include University College London, Cambridge University, the College of Estate Management, Cabe, the Joint Mobility Union, the RICS, and Corenet. Within this listing it is important to emphasise that where possible we have forged alliances with fellow organisations and representative bodies from within the built environment.
Significant member partnerships have been formed with The Harmsen Group, Jones Lang Lasalle, Cushman Wakefield, ZZA Ltd, Richard Ellis, Arup Associates, Linklaters, Savills, and DEGW.
Other important partnerships have been created with the Department for Trade and Industry and RIBA publications.
As our research programme expands and with our particular focus on the workplace BCO research welcomes all opportunities to work with new partners creating different alliances and opportunities in the field of research and particularly best practice development.
