The BCO has a range of membership categories to enable all individuals, whatever their location or size of business, to benefit from the opportunities our membership has to offer.

The impact of the coronavirus pandemic has, of course, been profound in many ways. As the inevitable consequences of the economic recession come into play, particularly as the furlough scheme ends, the BCO is acutely aware that some of its members may be made redundant.

Should this be the case, please rest assured that the BCO wishes to help as far as we possibly can.  Please do not hesitate to contact us at, with your personal email and mobile number, if you have been made redundant and would like to maintain your membership at no charge until you secure a new position.

As a not for profit organisation, and one which derives a very large proportion of its income from events, the BCO itself has been hit very hard by the pandemic.  Membership subscription income also remains the organisation’s life blood.  However, we very much hope that, by extending this offer to members who are no longer employed, we will be able to keep what might be called “the BCO family” together while we all weather this extraordinarily difficult storm.

Lastly, may I offer my sincere thanks to all members of the BCO for their continued support for the organisation and its work during this the most challenging of times.

With kind regards

Richard Kauntze
Chief Executive

The BCO is delighted to be able to offer free membership of the BCO to any student (under-graduate or post-graduate) undertaking a relevant course.  Students may apply using the dedicated Student Membership Application Form.

Student members have access to the full range of benefits available to other BCO members.  Full details on the many benefits associated with membership of the BCO can be found in the membership section and the Student Membership Flyer.
