BCO announces free membership for students

The British Council for Offices (BCO) is delighted to announce that under-graduate and post-graduate students can become members of the organisation at no charge. Membership is open to all students and follows a series of moves by the BCO to encourage young people to join the BCO.

Paul Patenall becomes BCO President, focuses on wellness

Paul Patenall, Projects Director at U+I, has been elected as President of the British Council for Offices (BCO) and will focus on the positive impact the industry can have on wellness. Patenall formally took over from Katrina Kostic-Samen at the BCO’s Annual General Meeting (11 July 2019).

“We are living in exponential times” - – new BCO Guide to Specification addresses wellbeing, the Fourth Industrial Revolution and sustainability

The British Council for Offices (BCO) has published its new Guide to Specification, which provides guidance on industry standards for workplaces across the UK. The Guide, last published in 2014, helps office developers address the key issues for the UK workforce in the coming decades, namely wellbeing, technology and sustainability.
