This report addresses concerns expressed by real estate professionals on the capacity of London's energy infrastructure. The concerns were that there was a lack of capacity which was increasing the complexity, expense and risk to new office developments. The research found the key issues were: high connection charges, a lack of security of supply delivered risk to developments through uncertain timeframes, increased upfront costs, investment in the network was limited by Ofgem and issues around district heating networks.
