Regional BCO Award Winner of Refurbished/Recycled Workplace 2010

This building, originally constructed as an office and warehouse, was over 40 years old and looked rather old and outdated. With a robust structural frame, the decision was made to undertake a radical refurbishment.

The objectives of providing a sustainable solution, maximising floor space and creating clear open space have been successfully achieved with a BREEAM Excellence Award and attractive office space.

The judges felt the project team and the client must take enormous satisfaction for delivering upon clear objectives within a tight budget and adopting a design approach that would differentiate the building in a highly competitive market.
