The BCO has created a dedicated programme to support the younger generation as they enter the office sector.

Every November, the NextGen Awards recognise the outstanding accomplishments of young professionals in the office sector. The award categories include Regional Rising Stars, Graduate of the Year, Impact Award, Inspirational Leader of the Year, and NextGen Employer of the Year.

THE NextGen IDEAS PROJECT

The NextGen Ideas Project competition is open to our NextGen members. The competition challenges members to present their boldest, most innovative ideas for the future of the workplace.

THE ideas project COMPETITION

The BCO’s NextGen Ideas Project offers an opportunity for members to showcase their ideas to the wider office sector. All finalists receive public speaking training and
mentorship from established industry professionals.

On top of this, they have a series of press opportunities to promote their submissions, including:

  • Pitching exclusive features and opinions to national and business titles
  • Integrating contestants into BCO Content Strands
  • Developing your elevator pitch with opportunities to pitch to key industry leaders
  • Develop research connections within your areas of expertise
