Walls and stairs inside an office

Research

Research is our core activity.

Internal corner of a building

Our remit in this field is to develop best practice, analyse developments in Britain's office market, and stimulate new thinking on the design, development, and occupation of offices across the UK. Every year a regular series of research reports, best practice guides, briefing and discussion papers are released and new commissions undertaken. The development of this programme has been marked by the adoption of a thematic approach which focuses on all aspects of the workplace, sustainability and urban regeneration.

This research programme equally supports our public affairs work enabling an evidence based approach in respect of policy development and consultation. This activity is however significantly enhanced by membership consultation and representation.
