BCO Scotland Talk & Tour: The Cube, Edinburgh

BCO Scotland is delighted to invite members to a technical tour of The Cube, Edinburgh.

Currently undergoing a major repositioning and being comprehensively refurbished, The Cube’s transformation is an example of a best-in-class technical approach, which will deliver 62,000 sq.ft of all-electric, highly sustainable and future-proofed workspace to the Edinburgh market.

Upon completion, the building will target some of the highest accreditations in Edinburgh including EPC “A”, Nabers 5* rating, BREEAM “Excellent”, ActiveScore “Platinum” rating, and will be CRREM pathway aligned.

During the tour, attendees will learn about the strip-out approach, concrete frame structure benefits and challenges, external envelope methodology, M&E solutions, sustainability initiatives and interior finishes. As the building nears completion, attendees will see a substantially advanced refurbishment.

With the building’s transformation being delivered by Sicore Real Assets alongside jmarchitects, Hulley & Kirkwood and Linear Design and Construct, members of the project team will be on hand to guide guests through the technical aspects of the refurbishment.
