BCO London Talk & Tour: Berners & Wells

The BCO is pleased to invite you to a tour of Berners & Wells by Emrys Architects – a compelling insight into sustainable and sensitive urban redevelopment. BCO members will be given a presentation by the project team, followed by a tour and networking drinks.

This mixed-use office and retail scheme in Fitzrovia combines the retention and enhancement of a historic Edwardian façade with a striking new build that responds thoughtfully to its context, including the nearby Grade II* listed Sanderson Hotel.

Of particular interest is the architectural integration of artwork by Tess Jaray RA, the creative unlocking of public space through the reconnection of Wells Mews, and the project’s achievement of BREEAM Excellent and the GLA’s ambitious carbon benchmarks. This tour offers a unique look at how heritage, design, and environmental performance can coexist in a landmark urban development.
