The marginal gains approach retained the superstructure, reused over 25,000 façade parts, and applied circular economy principles throughout. One Triton Square demonstrates how a “retain and reuse” philosophy can deliver exceptional sustainability.

By refurbishing rather than rebuilding, the project saved 40,000 tonnes of carbon, delivered the project 30% faster, and achieved a BREEAM Outstanding rating.

This strategy has created a renewed, sustainable landmark for the science and technology community – a bold step towards a net zero future, and a healthy, connected workplace for 3,500 people.
