BCO NextGen South West: What do ‘nextgen’ want from work and workspaces?
The dictionary defines an ‘Office’ as ‘a room, set of rooms or building where people work, usually sitting at desks.’ Most of us would agree that’s a simplistic and outdated definition. Today, the office is expected to ‘earn the commute’, contribute to health & wellbeing, reflect company culture and values, support socialising, learning and collaboration.
Buzzwords and trends come and go quickly, and an office that is being designed today, will be occupied well into the future. People are working later into their lives, but new generations will also enter the workforce, their life experiences shaped by a global pandemic, climate crisis and rapidly evolving technology.
Join BCO NextGen South West and FFT for an interactive workshop. Have your say on what you want, need, and expect from work and workspaces, as well as how that might evolve for future generations.
This event is kindly sponsored by Orangebox. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
