BCO North Talk & Tour: Turner & Townsend Elshaw House

Turner & Townsend has relocated its Sheffield team to a dynamic new office space, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s continued growth and long-term commitment to the region.

The move sees the team take up residence in one of the UK’s most sustainable office buildings, within the Heart of the City II development, a regeneration programme that Turner & Townsend has supported since 2014.

Since moving into its previous office space in 2015, the team has grown from around 30 employees to over 100, with representation across all Turner & Townsend business segments: real estate, infrastructure, defence and security, and energy and natural resources.

Taking up 5,200 sq ft of office space at Elshaw House on Carver Street, the new space provides a modern, flexible working environment designed to support collaboration, wellbeing and productivity.

Features include extensive breakout areas, multiple meeting rooms and a dedicated wellbeing room, all with improved technology and a healthy, naturally ventilated environment. Designed with wellbeing and convenience in mind, the building also features a rooftop terrace, concierge, showers and dedicated cycling amenities.

Elshaw House holds a NABERS five-star ‘excellent’ rating and a five-star BREEAM green energy rating, placing it among the most sustainable in the country and in the top 1 percent of office buildings in the UK for energy efficiency.
