Technical Tour – White Rose Development, Leeds
The White Rose Office Park started life in 1984 as the UK headquarters and production facility for Systime Computers, then the second largest computer manufacturer in the UK. The main building comprised of 340,000 sq ft of accommodation on two floors in 27 acres of landscaped park land.
The present owner, David Aspin of Munroe K, has two principal tenants in the main building, O2 and HSBC, and has developed a further 165,000 sq ft of office buildings in recent years for occupation by HMRC, DePuy, WSP and West Yorkshire Police Authority, together with substantial hospitality and car parking facilities.
The Office Park now comprises almost 500,000 sq ft of buildings, with plans for the development of a further 75,000 sq ft of office accommodation in the pipeline.
