The purpose of this briefing note is to provide an overview of the health and wellbeing agenda with a focus on the office sector. The BCO has published a number of papers and organised a few events on the subject of wellbeing particularly the WELL Building Standard.
This time the Group has decided to provide a briefing note on health and wellbeing in offices. This subject has been growing in importance over recent years as wearable technology has become more popular and people are monitoring their health and wellbeing more closely.
The briefing note defines health and wellbeing, sets out what it means for the office sector now and what it could mean in the longer term. This new agenda may affect how we lay out and fit out offices in the future.
