BCO NextGen Midlands Talk & Tour: 35 Newhall Street

Join BCO NextGen Midlands for an exclusive tour of 35 Newhall Street, a recently completed £11 million refurbishment that has transformed a prominent office building in Birmingham’s Colmore Business District into a contemporary Grade A workplace.

Delivered for Valeo Capital by Associated Architects, Hoare Lea, Webb Yates and Quartz, with Estilo leading the refurbishment and fit-out works, the project showcases how a retention-first approach can unlock new value from existing buildings while improving sustainability and occupier experience.

Representatives from the design and construction teams will discuss how the project reimagined the building through a series of targeted interventions, including infilling a redundant atrium to increase lettable floor area, reconfiguring the core to enhance tenant facilities, strengthening the roof structure to create a new roof terrace, and transforming redundant plant space into valuable occupier amenity space.

Representatives from Estilo will also share insights from delivering the refurbishment and showcase the speculative CAT A+ fit-out, demonstrating how repositioned office space can respond to modern tenant requirements.

Following a short presentation, attendees will enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the building, including the Sky Lounge, roof terrace, CAT A+ workspace and end-of-trip facilities.
